Fees & Rebates

What a visit costs, and how rebates work

Fees are payable at the time of your appointment. Most private health funds can be claimed on the spot through HICAPS, so you only pay the gap.

Consultation fees

Initial consultation (60 min) $115
Subsequent consultation (45 min) $75
Chinese remedial massage (45–60 min) $75–$100
Herbal medicine
Cost varies with the formula prescribed
$10–$20 / day

Herb costs above $20 a day may apply if specialty or imported herbs are required for your formula. Your practitioner will let you know the expected cost before dispensing.

Paying and claiming

Payment is taken at reception after your appointment by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. If you're claiming through a private health fund, we process it on the spot through HICAPS — you only pay the gap between the fee and your rebate.

If you have a Chronic Disease Management (EPC) referral from your GP, bring it to your first visit so we can process your Medicare rebate for eligible sessions.

Private health funds accepted

We accept claims from all major Australian private health funds. Rebate amounts differ between funds and levels of cover, so check with your insurer for an exact quote before your visit.
